Frequently asked
What exactly is SayTrue?
A managed AI customer-service agent for your phone line, website chat and Facebook/Instagram inbox. It answers only from knowledge you approve, keeps a source log your team can check, and hands over to your people the moment it shouldn't answer alone. Bytecode sets it up; your staff run it day to day.
How is it different from a chatbot that makes things up?
Structurally. The agent can only answer from your approved entries and documents; where no grounded source exists it refuses, escalates or records the question — and the source log shows which entry produced every answer. The three outcomes — grounded, escalated, no source — are counted honestly in your reports.
Which languages does it speak?
Croatian first — the pipeline is tuned and listening-tested for it — with additional languages configured per client and a fallback chain instead of silence. The demo call is the honest test: bring the language mix your customers actually use.
Which channels are covered — and which aren't?
Phone, web chat widget, Facebook Messenger and Instagram DM, all from one knowledge base. WhatsApp is not covered yet — we say that up front, because for some businesses it's the deciding channel. Email intake exists for sales inquiries.
What happens outside our working hours?
The agent knows your hours as configuration. At night it answers what the knowledge base covers, records what it can't as structured requests with contact details, and never transfers a call to an office where nobody is — and never promises a callback nobody scheduled.
How does it handle GDPR?
Retention is configured per client — 90 days by default — and enforced by a nightly purge job. Client data sits behind tenant isolation covered by automated tests on every endpoint, credentials are encrypted at rest, and the full subprocessor list with processing locations is part of the pre-signature documentation.
How much does it cost?
There's no public price list — deployments differ too much for one honest number. What drives cost is channels, conversation volume, languages and integrations; you get a concrete figure at the demo call, after we understand your shape, and no surprises after it.
How long until it's live?
The knowledge base is the long pole: the builder drafts entries from your website, your team approves them, and go-live is gated on a real test call — the same readiness checks the live call path runs. Start narrow, grow from the gap report.
Who maintains it after launch?
Your staff, in a console built for non-technical people: edit knowledge, read conversations and escalations, follow the gap report. Bytecode stays behind the technical curtain — provisioning, integrations, and anything that breaks.
Can we try it before deciding?
Yes — the demo call includes a live conversation with a demo agent in Croatian, on demo data, where you bring your hardest questions. Judging by your own ears is the point; no slide deck replaces it.
Answers your customers can trust.
Grounded in your knowledge, honest about its limits, and handed to your team the moment it should be.
